“Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.”
This is so important. Honestly, I feel as though this verse helps settle so many of our worries. Our culture is so accustomed to worrying about the future. We worry about how that bill is getting paid, how that relationship is going to turn out and how we’ll find that next job.
When we give our stresses and worries to God and focus on following him, he will make things work out for us.
When our hearts and minds are aligned with what God wants us to do, he will tell us the moves we’re to make, so stressing and worrying will be pointless.
When we focus our worries on prayer and learning more about him, everything will fall into place.
Now, this isn’t to say that everything will always be easy, dear Christian, because I promise you, it won’t. But when we keep our eyes focused on God during those struggles, they don’t seem as small. Even big problems, with God, we realize that our struggles here don’t even compare to the glory and perfection we will have in Heaven.
